This incredible creation was inspired by dolphins use of sound to detect the size, shape, and speed of objects hundreds of yards away. Fascinating and complex, the dolphin’s natural sonar, called echolocation, is so precise it can determine the difference between a golf ball and a ping-pong ball based solely on density. Although humans have researched these intelligent marine mammals for decades, much of their acoustical world remains a mystery.
Handcrafted in .925 sterling, sparkling diamonds are set in the dolphin eye and sonar wave (.10 carat total weight) with a centered balanced beautiful ocean blue topaz briolette (1.50 carat total weight) to represent the precious ocean environment. We use a quality rhodium finish to offer a high polished shiny luster which contrast nicely against the soft frosted finish of the dolphin. This quality finish also helps to resist tarnish.
